Zillah Virji [she/her]

Zillah is an Associate at Kelly D. Jordan Family Law. Her practice focuses on a wide range of family law issues, including parenting disputes, property division, spousal and child support, and domestic contracts. She has represented clients at all levels of Court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Prior to starting her family law practice, Zillah began her law career at a reputable firm in Toronto, advising both individuals and corporations seeking a diverse array of Canadian and US immigration benefits. After being called to the Bar in 2019, Zillah was selected to take part in the Canadian Bar Association’s Young Lawyer International Program and deployed to Yangon, Myanmar to join an intergovernmental organization dedicated to the promotion of the rule of law access to justice. During that time Zillah worked on various projects to raise awareness and develop capacity for those unaware of their rights and obligations under the law. Since then, she has demonstrated a continued passion for social justice and advocating for clients.

Drawing from her diverse experience, Zillah approaches each case with a blend of creativity and practicality, striving for out-of-court settlements when appropriate, while zealously representing clients in the courtroom when needed. Her understanding of the emotional and practical challenges of family law disputes allows her to offer compassionate, pragmatic solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
