Associate Emma Katz Quoted by CBC Regarding Rights of Common-Law Couples
Jul 21, 2022
Kelly D. Jordan Family Law Firm Associate Emma Katz discussed the differences between common-law partnerships (cohabitation) and marriage on an episode of CBC Radio Toronto’s Metro Morning.
Emma discussed the challenges with the differences in property rights between married spouses and cohabitating couples.

So I think it is time to have a discussion about how and when [common-law] couples should be sharing their wealth.”
